A Sjoelbak is the game board upon which the traditional Dutch game of Sjoelen is played. And now your family can have its own Sjoelbak from The Sjoelbak Crafter.
Handmade in Denver, Colorado by Dutch-American René Knetsch, every Sjoelbak we make is built like a piece of fine furniture. Our Sjoelbakken are made of solid oak and oak veneers, with meticulous attention to detail such as dovetailed joints at the corners of the boards, inlaid scoring markers made of contrasting colored hardwood, and a hand rubbed Danish oil finish that is then waxed to a high sheen.
